STRIKE PERCUSSION

We had a great time on Wednesday when Strike Percussion group came to perform to us.  We were also lucky enough to have one of the performers teach us some drumming skills.  What FUN!!!

Growing Potatoes

We planted potatoes in a bucket.

First of all we needed to put holes in the bottom to make sure the potatoes did not get too much water and rot.

Next we put soil in the bucket to one third of the way up.  

We pushed the seed potato in until it was covered by 1cm soil.

Then we watered them.

To look after them we will need to water every 3 or 4 days to keep the soil damp (not wet and not dry).  They will also need sunshine each day and to be protected from frosts.  We bring them inside each night.
